Setting up a Cheerleading Club can be a very exciting and rewarding challenge. You can help young people develop their sporting career and make new friends whilst doing something they love. As well as training and youth development, UKCA clubs also create competitive opportunities with clubs being eligible to enter the UKCA annual competitions. Before you set up a club, you must ensure you have:

Qualifications – the correct level of qualification is essential before any coaching takes place.

Insurance – every coach/club/squad needs insurance as the safety of the Cheerleaders is priority.

DBS Certificate – every adult working with young or vulnerable adults is required by law to have a valid DBS check.

First Aid Certificate – every adult working with young or vulnerable adults should have a valid first aid certificate.

Once you’re club is set up you can then enter your club into any of our Cheerleading competitions! UKCA competitions are exciting events where everyone is encouraged to take part, demonstrate a high level of skills and have fun.

Want to learn something new? Why not challenge yourself this year by partaking in one of our many Cheerleading courses. You can join a course whether or not you’re starting from scratch or looking to improve skills that you already have.

The ECA Board of Directors has awarded the right to host and organize the European Cheerleading Championships 2017 to Croatia:

The date of the ЕСС 2017 is July 01.-02, 2017

The location of the ЕСС 2017 is Zagreb – Croatia.

Host and organizer is “Cheerleading and Cheerdance Association of Croatia”

UKCA competitions are always thrilling & exciting, by entering a competition this gives you the opportunity to show off your skills and challenge yourself. The Winter Championships always demonstrate a high level of cheer from all ages that everyone can get involved with. The UKCA Winter Championships will be taking place on the 3rd of December until the 4th of December at the Manchester Velodrome.

Don’t miss out on the exciting cheerleading filled weekend! Send in your entries to secure your ticket. Over the two days you will see or take part in a wide range of cheerleading styles, from Group Stunts to Pom Dance. The competition running order including start and finish times will be sent together with a letter supplying all relevant information to coaches two weeks before the competition date.
