Here at The UK Cheerleading Association we offer a wide range of fulfilling activities to our members and associates alike. Whether you Cheer, Coach or Volunteer, there are several processes of development within our organisation that we can set into motion for all members new and old. From moves and techniques based in gymnastics to dance related steps, we encourage a wide variation of choreography. Our upcoming competitions reflect varied levels of skill and development.
The West Midlands Cheerleading and Dance Competition at the Doug Ellis Sport Centre, Birmingham on May 10th 2015 is a valuable opportunity for Dance and Cheerleading groups to compete, when perhaps they aren’t quite equipped for National Competitions, this allows members to revel in the experience of a competition. Tickets for this event are £7.50, to purchase spectator tickets please email Kim at maddisonscic@yahoo.co.uk.
Our next competition on a larger scale is The UKCA Spring Championships in May 2015! We are eager to see Cheerleading teams along with hundreds of Cheerleaders attend and take part. We are always enthusiastic about all of our competitions, the Spring Competition across the weekend of May 16th & May 17th is a highly anticipated event for the UKCA and all of it’s members. You can discover further information and purchase spectator tickets for the event right here.
We’re also delighted that The UKCA National Schools’ Championships 2015 are just around the corner. Entires for the Schools’ Competition are still open, but close on the May 8th, so click here to secure your performance. We’re proud to bring another high energy weekend to The Manchester Velodrome in June, showcasing ‘The Sport of Smiles’ to the North West area of the UK. All of our competitions attract Cheerleaders from across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, the National Schools’ Championships on 20th & 21st of June is no different.
Additionally, our Official UKCA Ambassador Lauren Quigley has been selected to compete as part of the British Swimming team at the FINA World Championships in Kazan 2015. Lauren is not only our Ambassador, but an inspiration to young people throughout Britain and the world over. So, from us here at The UKCA we wish her the best of luck in all of her endeavours.
Good luck to all of our members at our upcoming Competitions, we wish you all success and can’t wait to see you soon!
We are proud of you!
Team UKCA.
