Coming Up in 2018

After a busy and exciting 2017 which included training courses all over the country, 5 domestic competitions, the European championships and the Worlds, you’d be forgiven for thinking we might take it easy in 2018…But that’s not how we do it!

2018 promises to be another exciting year for the UKCA and it’s already well under way!

Just around the corner are the NI National Schools & Club Championships 2018 on 24th February at the Antrim Forum. Entries are still open for this event, but not for much longer. To avoid disappointment make sure you enter as soon as possible at: the official event page.

There’s no time to waste though as just a few days later on the 3rd & 4th March the National Championships 2018 take place in Manchester.

April is your chance to hone your skills before the Spring Championships 2018 on the 19th & 20th May.

The Spring comp is soon followed by the National Schoolsโ€™ Championships 2018 on the 23rd & 24th June.

After the National Schoolsโ€™ Championships is the Summer/Autumn break from competition where we can throw ourselves into practice and skills development. Across the whole year, official UKCA training courses will be held all over the country focussing on all aspects of the sport. Our Course Schedule lists all of the dates of training courses and is regularly updated throughout the year with new opportunities.

The year ends with a bang as always at the Winter Championships 2018 in Manchester on the 1st & 2nd December.

It promises to be another fantastic year for Cheerleading. Stay up to date with all the goings on at UKCA via our official social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.
