On Saturday, June 17th, we held our Summer Cheer and Dance Championships! Then on Sunday, June 18th, we held our Schools Championships! Cheer and dance teams from across the UK and UK schools competed at Belle Vue Sports Village, where we witnessed some of the elite cheer talents from across the country.
Two competitions in one weekend are always a blast, and this year was no exception! We were blown away by the companionship, competition, sheer talent, and joy displayed in both competitions. We owe all the competitors, coaches, clubs, mascots, parents, and spectators a huge round of applause for making this weekend of competitions one to remember.
Summer Cheer & Dance Championships
Saturday’s Summer Cheer and Dance Championship saw athletes competing in Group Stunts, Cheerleading, Partner Stunts, Pom Dance, and Urban Cheer across all levels. Then we had the always wonderful Mascot Showdown.
Apex Dream opened the Championships with their fantastic Level 2 Group Stunt performance – a great way to start the day! The GDA Giants Storm opened the evening competitions with their Level 1 Pom Dance for Tiny Teenies performance, which was truly wonderful.
All of the teams wowed us for a full day and evening of healthy competition. Huge congratulations to each and every team who competed and placed. We hope you are all so proud of yourselves. You showed up and gave it your all!
