What an outstanding weekend for Team UK and the wider UK cheerleading community.
On 27 and 28 June 2026, Team UK proudly represented the United Kingdom at the European Cheerleading Championships in Novigrad, Croatia, while UKCA events were also taking place in Manchester.
It was a truly significant weekend for cheerleading in the UK, with athletes competing both nationally and internationally across the same weekend. Team UK delivered an exceptional set of performances on the European stage, achieving 10 podium finishes across cheerleading, group stunt and urban cheer divisions.
These results are a fantastic reflection of the dedication, preparation and commitment shown by every athlete, coach, club, family and supporter involved.
Team UK at the European Cheerleading Championships 2026
The European Cheerleading Championships brought together teams from across Europe for two days of high-level competition. Representing Team UK in Croatia were teams from Dragonettes Cheer & Dance Studio, Apex Cheer & Dance, Apex Odyssey, Bicester ECU and New Generation.
Each club played an important part in a memorable weekend for Team UK, with teams competing across Cheerleading, Group Stunt, Urban Cheer and Pom Dance divisions.

A Major Weekend for UK Cheerleading
This was a major weekend for cheerleading in the UK. While teams were taking to the floor at UKCA events in Manchester, Team UK athletes were also representing the country internationally in Croatia.
To see UK teams achieve such strong results across Europe is a proud moment for everyone connected to the sport. International competition takes commitment, discipline, teamwork and resilience, and every athlete who stepped onto the floor in Croatia should be extremely proud of what they achieved.
These results celebrate not only the athletes on the floor, but also the coaches, clubs, families and supporters who help create the environment for success. They show the continued growth, strength and potential of cheerleading across the UK.
