National Cheer & Dance Championships March 2024 – Review

On Saturday, March 9th, and Sunday, March 10th, we held our National Cheer & Dance Championships! Belle Vue Sports Village hosted cheer and dance teams from across the UK.

The first competition of the year was so much fun! The sportsmanship and talent on display set a high standard for the rest of the year. Congratulations to every single performer – your talent, joy, and conduct were absolutely incredible.

We also owe a huge round of applause to all the coaches, clubs, mascots, parents, and spectators for making this weekend of competitions the best possible.

National Cheer & Dance Championships

Saturday’s National Cheer & Dance Championship saw athletes compete in Group Stunts and cheerleading across all levels, as well as the Mascot Showdown.

Apex Cheer Titanium opened Saturday morning with a fantastic Level 3 Group Stunts performance! Clarets Libra opened the afternoon with a super Level 1 Group Stunts routine!

Sunday’s Championship saw athletes compete in Freestyle and Traditional Pom Dance, Cheer Dance, Urban Cheer, and the Mascot Showdown.

Sunday’s competition opened with a Level 1 Traditional Pom Dance routine from Puma: Grease is the Word! Tell you more? Okay! Doncaster Diamonds Team Tension opened the afternoon’s performances with their fabulous Freestyle Pom Dance Teenies routine.

The teams showed off their talent and determination through an entire weekend of healthy competitionβ€”huge congratulations to all the teams. We hope you’re as proud of yourselves as we are of you. You never fail to bring it at these championships!
