On Saturday, December 2nd, and Sunday, December 3rd, we held our Winter Cheer and Dance Championships! Cheer and dance teams from across the UK competed at Belle Vue Sports Village, where we witnessed some elite cheer talents from across the country.
As always, we had so much fun with the companionship and were blown away by the competition, unbelievable talent, and pure joy on display over the weekend! We owe all the competitors, coaches, clubs, mascots, parents, and spectators a massive round of applause for making this weekend of competitions the best possible.
Winter Cheer & Dance Championships
Saturday’s Winter Cheer and Dance Championship saw athletes competing in Group Stunts and cheerleading across all levels, plus the Mascot Showdown.
Apex Legacy opened Saturday morning with their stunning Level 4 Group Stunts performance! The Dewi Dragons took centre stage to start our afternoon with their Cheerleading Level 1 Tiny Teenies routine – just incredible!!
The teams continued to wow us through a full day of healthy competition. Huge congratulations to all of the teams. We hope you’re as proud of yourselves as we are of you. You showed up and gave it your absolute best. What a great show!
Sunday’s Championship had athletes competing in Pom Dance, Cheer Dance, Urban Cheer, and the Mascot Showdown. We saw lots of spectators on their feet, too!
Sunday’s competition started with Spotlight Stars Let’s Go showing us how it’s done with their Pom Dance Level 1 Junior B performance, which was so much fun. Hartlepool Hawks Chaos opened the afternoon’s performances with their fabulous Urban Cheer Masters routine. Thank you so much!
Mascot Showdown
Huge congratulations to Rita the Cheetah and Star the Panda, who took home those coveted Mascot Showdown awards!

Grand Champion Pom Dance Level 2 Senior: Clarets Vibe with a score of 95.2%
