This means that Cheerleading activities within your club suspended for at least 4 weeks. In this difficult time it is important that we keep our body and minds healthy by staying active. Physical activity improves our sporting abilities, mood and overall health.
Train at home
Whilst we cannot currently take part in club activity together, there are steps we can still take to train our arm motions, jumps, flexibility, core and keep our skills sharp from the safety of our own home.
UKCA have put together a #StayHomeStaySafe collection of videos and challenges that you and your family can follow along to that will help keep you active during Lockdown 2.0. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be adding more home workouts for you to try and we’d also love to see how you’re getting along.
Visit the #StayHomeStaySafe section of our website, follow along with the sessions and share you videos with us on social media to inspire others! Just tag the UK Cheerleading Association in your posts.
