We’ve just added 2 NEW course dates for you this winter, starting with an Online Leadership Award on the 21st & 22nd November followed by a Cheerleading Foundation Skills course on 5th & 6th December 2020.

Our courses are designed to assist and encourage the development of all attendees. Each course is run by a fully qualified instructor and we ensure that everyone who attends, finishes the day feeling confident and inspired.

Due to COVID-19 all of our upcoming courses are held online via Zoom which means you can start your coaching pathway journey and pick up the coaching qualifications you need from the comfort of your own home!

Leadership Award – 21st & 22nd November 2020

The UKCA Leadership Award is the start of coaching pathway suitable for ages 12+ (Students in Year 8 or above) or adults with no coaching/teaching experience. The mix of practical work and theory, the course covers Health & Safety, Communication, Motivation, and Team Building. Successful participants will receive a Level 1 Leadership Award (JSLA/CSLA/NGB Level 1 Equivalent) enabling them to assist their qualified Coach or Teacher with the delivery of Cheer and Dance activities.

Cheerleading Foundation Skills – 5th & 6th December 2020

The UKCA Cheerleading Foundation Skills Course is an introduction to Cheerleading, covering ground-bound Cheer and Dance skills. The course covers, Coaching Skills, Lesson Planning & Session Structure, Health & Safety, Warm-Up, Stretch & Cool Down Activities, Cheerleading Vocal Skills, Cheer Arm Motions, Cheer Jump Technique, and Choreography. Successful participants will receive a Foundation Cheerleading Skills Certificate of Qualification.
