First of all, we’d like to wish you all a very Happy New Year once again. We hope 2019 is as fun, exciting and successful as 2018. Last year was a fantastic year at the UK Cheerleading Association. We hosted 5 competitions throughout the year, held courses all across the country and welcomed countless newly qualified Cheer coaches.
2019 promises to be another incredible year for Cheerleading with UKCA.
We have another 5 UKCA competitions to bring to you this year starting with the NI National Schools & Club Championships 2019 in February. Here are all the competition dates for your 2019 diary:

New year, new skills. In addition to our busy competition schedule, the year will bring an abundance of UKCA training courses across all areas of the sport. Our first course of the year, a Foundation Cheerleading Skills course in Stockport has already taken place and there are plenty more to come in the Spring. Our current list of courses are below with more to be added throughout the year.
After a huge number of applications (over 100) and subsequent squad announcement in late 2018, Team UK are now preparing for the 10th Cheerleading World Championships in Takasaki, Japan. The competition will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November 2019. Throughout the year Team UK will regularly train together as they refine their routines in preparation for representing the UK at one of the biggest Cheer competitions of the year.
It’s going to be another amazing year. Make sure you follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, subscribe to our YouTube channel and hashtag your Cheerleading posts with #UKCA to join the conversation.
