The ADA Comets is the older cheerleading team at Aycliffe Dance Academy. It was created after some of the original Starburst members reached 12 and still wanted to be involved in cheerleading. After discussing with older members of the academy it was agreed to start and ‘Adult’ class, which soon became a senior class as we began to welcome anyone 12 and up (ie senior school age). The team has varied in size from year to year but this summer will it at its biggest yet as more starbursts reach 12.
